The components of a "world-class ergonomics program" is essential to VPPPA members as they are more inclined to strive to be the best that they can be. These program elements have been defined and shared with a variety of VPP sites and they have applauded the information and guidance that a world-class program provides. GHS Readiness Webinar – How to Transition to the Globally Harmonized System (GHS)* Thursday, April 15th from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm EST. This GHS Readiness webinar will discuss the proposed changes by the Globally Harmonized System and outline a practical roadmap to successfully transition to the new hazard communication standards. Professionals involved in chemical safety programs, MSDS management, MSDS authoring and overall hazard communication initiatives should attend this educational seminar. Safety Committees* Thursday, May 20th from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm EST. Many companies use committees as a means to gain employee involvement. This presentation discusses the expectations of effective committees and how to get past the stage of just having everyone sit around and discuss complaints.
