Buffalo 2009 Hispanic
Family Safety & Health
Fair

A partnership event between Urban Family Practice,
the Buffalo Area OSHA office and the Atlantic OSHA
Training Center.
Delivering Safety Awareness Education and Medical
Screenings to Protect the Life, Health and Wellbeing
of Spanish Speaking Workers and their Families.

Each year there are approximately 79 workplace
fatalities in New York State, and 34% of these
fatalities occur among Hispanic workers.
Many Hispanic workers work in some of the most
inherently dangerous jobs. To help employers and
employees overcome these obstacles, we are
planning the Feria Familiar de Salud y Seguridad, the
Family Health and Safety Fair, on Niagara Street
between Jersey and Pennsylvania Streets.  
Saturday June 20, 20098 from 1:00pm-
5:00pm. This event will be FREE for all
participants and their families.
