The 17th Annual Region II conference will be held at
the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona,
New York from June 15 to June 17, 2009. Based on
constituents' comments and suggestions, we have
extended this year's conference to three full days of
outstanding workshops, additional opportunities for
networking and expandedvendor/exhibitor area
featuring the latest in safety & health products and
services.
This year’s featured Key note speaker Robert "Rocky"
Bleier is a former National Football League halfback who
played for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1968 and from 1971
to 1980.Rocky Bleier is now an in-demand motivational
speaker for diverse audiences. As a former running back
for the four-time Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh
Steelers, Bleier explains the parallels between the
challenges he faced in the past and the challenges
all business people face in today's crowded, competitive
workforce in his speech, “Be the best you can be”.
Rocky Bleier’s life experiences helped him overcome adversity and
reach his goals, which paid off after his football career. Some of those
lessons are also portrayed in the popular book on his life, "Fighting
Back," and an ABC-TV movie of the week by the same name.
